At Scandinavian Living by Bo Bedre we make the cover with the picture of the stunning home of Jan, Jannicke and their 3 children.

We captured the home of this family in the middle of the natural area of Deventer (eastern Netherlands) where they created their dream home in a dilapidated coach house. Jan and Jannicke find that the most beautiful thing about their house are the old elements and in particular the huge wooden doors over the entire length of the house, where carriages used to be driven out in the past and we understand that very well! It gives such a nice stately look., don’t you think?

This was a great week where we made unforgettable memories with our family. We love the house and its surroundings. Nu in de JAN Living: Harlingen Heaven… ‘Rianne Landstra deed een Ik vertrek in eigen land. De Interieurstylist zei tabee tegen haar overvolle leven in Amsterdam, kocht een grachtenpand aan de haven in Harlingen en opende daar een beeldschoon gastenverblijf.’

Een shortstay waar het nu veilig social distancen is.

PUBLICATIE . AFKES IN LIEFKE MAGAZINE

Toen de lente begon (vorige week zaterdag), kwam ook de nieuwe Liefke uit! Ik fotografeerde de serie van kunstenares Afke Spies. Dit magazine gevuld met foto’s en betekenisvolle verhalen (zonder advertorials) is ècht een must! LIEFKE verdient jouw aandacht. Bestel je er één via de website? 

'In het Drentse heeft ze nu alle ruimte - letterlijk en figuurlijk - om te kunnen schilderen. Hoewel ze zich nog regelmatig afvraagt: Afke, wat wil je nu het liefst? Het houdt haar als kunstenaar scherp. Inspiratie en flow vinden, dat lukt steeds beter. ‘Ik heb altijd wel een gevoel bij iemand, het is iets wat ik gemakkelijk kan uitbeelden. Iemand die vol zorgen zit, dat beeld vind ik erg mooi. Of ik het nu zelf voel of bij een ander zie.’ Haar sensitiviteit kan ze op die manier ook goed inzetten in haar schilderwerk. Inmiddels weet ze ook wat ze met haar kunst wil bewerkstelligen. ‘Ik vind een werk geslaagd als het mensen raakt. Worden ze er ongemakkelijk van? Zet het ze aan het denken? Wat doet het met ze?’'

In de Friesland special van de Libelle staat nu een prachtige reportage van 10 pagina's over de geweldige Shortstay NRDRHVN91 en het inspirerende huis van styliste Rianne Landstra. Dit weekeind toverde ze haar huis om tot conceptstore for a week met kunstwerken van onder andere Laura de Wilde. Een heerlijk smeltkroes van goede smaak, kunst en design!
